I’m sure that many of you have visited hundreds of blogs that look sort of the same. It is very boring isn’t it? That is why this article will be devoted to speeding up blogs. So, let us see what should be and can be done.

Find image that you like but make sure it is of the right size. I will take one that is 550×350 pixels. After that find Action Pane and click on the folder. You will have to give a name to a new action set – make it “Blog Actions” (it will be much easier to store and find all you actions that you will definitely use on the blog). Now click the page icon (folded one) in Action Pane. Immediately after you have pressed record each move will be logged by the action. There is a stop button which you can also use to stop recording.

So, after hitting the record button you should create another layer and draw rectangular marquee lower. Put #000000 and make the opacity between 70%. After that take a type tool and put your name inside this rectangular.
