Learn more about software development
The process of custom software development is a really complicated one depending on the scope of the project. At the same time it can be pretty simple and short if the software developed isn’t that complicated or there exists a good platform to base the product on. Usually development begins with market research and goal setting. When the aim is clear, the project is broken down into small tasks, designed for every member of the team. The process is coordinated by the project manager who stays in close touch with the clients reporting on the work done, discussing budgetary issues, difficulties arising and approving major changes to the product. There are development cycles that presuppose constant testing of the product to keep it bug-free. Others, on the other hand, only have testing at the end of the product when the pilot software is done and ready. It is important to remember for both the clients and the execution party that projects tend to be modified as they go along, and setting new goals is not a tragedy in itself, as long as it helps deliver the stated result. Since it is impossible to imagine any organization without software, the knowledge about its development cycles should be more widespread. And any group of either software or web developers should understand that.
